In the spring of 1987, Jim and his wife Teresa, founded the small landscaping firm of Keller Outdoor.  Abandoning his career and degree in nursing, he and his wife pursued a career in the landscaping industry.  Today, Jim still plays a major role in the day to day protocal and has become the head contact for the fledgling engineering department.
